DBasia.news – The professional football player must have a good attitude on the pitch during the victory or defeat. Instead of becoming the role model, Edin Dzeko showed the contrary when his team got defeated 1-7 against Fiorentina in the Coppa Italia quarter-final.
The match was conducted on Thursday (31/1) at Artemio Franchi. Coach Eusebio Di Francesco placed him in the second half substituting Javier Pastore.
But, during the debate with the referee Gianluca Manganiello, Dzeko reacted too much. He spit in front of Manganello.
Instantly, the referee gave a red card for him. The Bosnia-Herzegovina player knew the consequence and he left the pitch.
Daily Record even reported Dzeko was spitting twice. But, from the recording, it is just seen once. However, he violated the regulation. Dzeko might have more sanctions if Manganello wasn’t pleased.
It means, Manganello could write the report about that and Italian football authority would give him the suspended period. If Manganello didn’t do that, he still would get the sanction.
