Steve Bruce Handles Newcastle United

DBasia.news – Newcastle United officially appointed the former Manchester United captain, Steve Bruce, as the new manager. Bruce replaced Rafael Benitez who left St James’ Park.
Bruce has signed a three-year contract with Newcastle and will fly to China to meet his new squad during their participation in the Premier League Asia Trophy in Nanjing and Shanghai.
The 58-year-old coach completed the process of moving to Newcastle after the Magpies agreed to a compensation with Sheffield Wednesday, who finished 12th in the Championship last season.
Bruce claimed to be thilled with his appointment as Newcastle’s new coach.
“I am happy and very proud to be appointed as the head of Newcastle United’s team,” Bruce stated.
“This is my childhood club and this is my father’s club, so this is a very special moment for me and my family.”
“There is a big challenge ahead of us, but this is one that my staff and I are ready to face. We will roll up our sleeves and we will mobilize everything from the start to make sure our fans have a successful team to be proud of.”
