The Former Coach

DBasia.news – Real Madrid never won in recent four matches of all competitions before the international break. Moreover, El Real didn’t score any goal in these four matches and three of them resulted in defeats: 0-3 against Sevilla, 0-1 against CSKA Moscow, and 0-1 against Deportivo Alaves.

The three offensive players of Madrid also in difficult times. Karim Benzema didn’t score any goal in 7 recent matches, despite the 5 goals in 4 initial matches of LaLiga. Gareth Bale also didn’t score 4 goals in 4 LaLiga matches. Meanwhile, Mariano Diaz just scored a goal since coming from Olympique Lyonnais.

The last time Madrid scored the goal was on September 23 during the 1-0 victory against Espanyol in the LaLiga. The situation raised a rumor that Madrid will purchase another new striker on January during the winter transfer market. The former Madrid coach in 2007-2009 Bernd Schuster expects his former club won’t be in a rush to recruit on January.

“I wouldn’t sign anyone in the winter market because if what you want is to bring in a star or someone who improves what you have, I think that if a club allows a player to leave like that it’ll be because he’s not right. Arriving in January without having good rhythm is very difficult,” Schuster said.

“They won’t easily let a striker leave if he has 20 goals with his team. What happens is that Ronaldo didn’t only guarantee you goals, but the opponents unconsciously change the way they play,” he continued.

Schuster’s statement is related to the exit of the Portuguese megastar who has been playing for Madrid for 9 years. Without the 5 Ballon d’Or winner and 5 Champions League title winners, Madrid often face the difficulty to score a goal in the difficult moment.
