Toni Kroos Extends Contract with Real Madrid

DBasia.news –  The Real Madrid midfielder from Germany, Toni Kroos, will stay with Real Madrid until June 2023.

This new agreement will make Toni Kross stay at Real Madrid for the next four years. Kroos has joined from Bayern Munich since 2014 and has won 12 titles in five years with Los Merengues, Madrid’s nickname.

Kroos has strengthened Madrid for 233 appearances. These include 28 matches this season in La Liga and eight matches in the Champions League.

“Real Madrid and Toni Kroos have agreed to extend the contract which will be binding until June 30, 2023.” read the club statement.

While Madrid coach, Zinedine Zidane, said Kroos was a key player in the game of Madrid and had provided many things for the club based at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium.

“Toni is a key player. He has been in Madrid for five years and has done many things. He’s a great player who brings calm. I always like him.”

“Everyone talks about Toni, and other players, in terms of whether I want them or not. Every player is good and important. There will be changes but not now, at the end of the season,” Zidane said.
