DBasia.news – Zinedine Zidane was re-elected by Real Madrid to train in the second period to fix the damage created in the 2018/19 season.
One of the conditions determined by Zidane when accepting an offer back to Santiago Bernabeu was control over the transfer of players. The reshuffle of the squad also seems certain to be done, even El Real has also officially signed the formidable FC Porto defender, Eder Militao.
Dissatisfied in managing to bring in one player, Madrid are also eyeing several other names, one of the players who is rumored to be the main target is Paul Pogba who is now strengthening Manchester United.
If Pogba finally really arrives at Santiago Bernabeu, the public will begin to predict that Toni Kroos would immediately become a decorator of the bench. But the German player confirmed that he would not easily give his position in the starting XI.
“We can talk about a lot of players. Yes, I really like him (Paul Pogba), but nothing will change,” Kroos said as quoted by the Independent.
“I will continue what I have done for the past few years, struggling to maintain a position in the starting XI, playing well. When I am at the highest level, I don’t think I will have any problems,” added the former Bayern Munich player. .
Speculation regarding Toni Kroos’s future had indeed been a hot topic in recent months, a few have predicted that he would be one of the players to be released, but all of that was disputed along with himself who had just signed a new contract until 2023.
Paul Pogba is not the only player who is reportedly included in Real Madrid’s shopping list, besides himself there are still several other names, namely Eden Hazard, Mohamed Salah and Kylian Mbappe.
