Torino Striker Turns Out to be AC Milan’s Admirer

Andrea Belotti

DBasia.news –  The 2015/16 season was the best season for Andrea Belotti, Torino striker, as he scored 12 goals in 35 Serie A matches. Belotti was called into the Italian national team.

Since then Belotti has reportedly been able to move to bigger clubs, especially AC Milan, who in the last two seasons have had no attackers who they can count on consistently to have Patrick Cutrone and Krzysztof Piatek.

Speculations linking him to the potential for a move to San Siro did not escape Belotti’s attention, and although the player admitted that he was a Milan supporter, at the moment he felt that he was already at a big club in Torino.

“(Gennaro) Gattuso was the main coach when I was in Palermo. I did not spend a long time with him as he did not last long at the club. But I feel happy as a Milan supporter since I was a child, being a player from a coach who has defended a club that I support is a matter of pride. But I still feel that my future is in Torino as I’ve been defending this club for four years, “Andrea Belotti said in an interview quoted from Football Italia.

Belotti acknowledged that he was inspired as an attacker from Andriy Shevchenko, a former Milan player who could be considered one of the best attackers to have defended the club. The 25-year-old admired the dedication shown by Shevchenko during his career as a professional football player.
