Tottenham Hotspur Must Remain Calm Amid Harry Kane’s Injury

Harry Kane
DBasia.news – Not only failed in achieving three points after the 1-0 defeat against Manchester United in the Premier League, but Tottenham Hotspur also got bad news for their prominent striker, Harry Kane.
Kane looked in pain in that match. The examination showed that the England striker had an ankle injury and might absent for at least one month and returns in March 2019.
Even though it’s already the midwinter transfer market, Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino emphasized that his squad won’t rush in finding Kane’s option soon.
“When he is one of the best strikers in Europe, it is going to affect performances. Always we’re open to improving our squad, to adding players that can improve us. But I think that’s not going to put pressure on us to sign some players,” Mauricio Pochettino said in the press conference, cited by BBC.
The ligament injury in Kane’s ankle makes the North London team only have Fernando Llorente as the senior striker to replace him. Also, they have the 16-year-old forward, Troy Parrott, who is currently in Spurs academy.
Pochettino scheme for the upcoming matches would be limited because Son Heung-min is also absent due to supporting South Korea national team who qualified for the knockout stage of 2019 Asian Cup at the United Arab Emirates.
