DBasia.news – Unique comments expressed by Arsenal manager, Unai Emery. Although his team is spending a lot of players spending this summer, Emery still thinks his team has not improved compared to last season.
Arsenal are in the 2019 summer transfer market. Several top players have the potential to become stars for the Gunners recruits throughout the transfer period.
A total of six players were brought in by Arsenal. They are Nicolas Pepe, David Luiz, Kieran Tierney, Dani Ceballos, Gabriel Martinelli, and William Saliba.
Even so, Arsenal also lost several players. Petr Cech decided to retire, while Aaron Ramsey moved to Juventus, and Laurent Koscielny returned home to France.
These conditions make Unai Emery doubt the quality of Arsenal players. In fact, the Spanish manager hopes the Gunners squad is better.
“I don’t know whether Arsenal’s squad is better than last season. My target is better than the previous season, improving performance,” Unai Emery said.
“I want to make Arsenal players better, have higher targets, and try harder to achieve them. However, I don’t know whether we are getting better.”
“I only know, now I have more options. In my opinion, now I have many alternatives in all positions to determine the main squad,” he continued.
