Valencia Legend Expects a Good 2019-20 Season from Los Che

DBasia.news –  An optimistic tone comes from the mouth of the Valencia legend, Gaizka Mendieta. He can’t wait for Valencia and hopes his former club will have a good 2019-20 season after winning the Copa del Rey 2018-19.

Valencia made a surprise in the Copa del Rey final last season. Facing Barcelona, Los Che who was not seeded came out as a winner with a score of 2-1.

Welcoming the new season, Valencia strengthen its line of players. They brought Jasper Cillessen, Denis Cheryshev, and Eliaquim Mangala to Mestalla.

Various capital makes Valencia supporters feel impatient to start a new season. Moreover, Marcelino Garcia Toral’s hand has proven successful.

At least, says Gaizka Mendieta. The player who twice helped Valencia qualify for the Champions League final felt the club’s plans went well.

“In my opinion, all Valencia supporters can not wait for the new season. Especially after Valencia won the Copa del Rey the previous season. Not just a trophy in my opinion,” said Gaizka Mendieta.

“This is because the plan worked on by Valencia goes well. The audience sees the results, the players and the team as a whole. The whole team works to achieve the same goal.”

“In my opinion, the club knows what they have to do. There will be challenges because Valencia play in the Champions League. However, when playing at Valencia, you have to play at the highest level,” he continued.

Valencia’s achievements in the 2018-2019 season did make optimism peak. Los Che ranked fourth in LaLiga, advanced to the Europa League semifinals, and won the Copa del Rey.
