Valencia Recruit Eliaquim Mangala

DBasia.news –  Manchester City defender, Eliaquim Mangala, has fully moved permanently to another club. Valencia recruited him and signed him for two years.

Eliaquim Mangala has been defending Manchester City since 2014. At that time, The Citizens recruited Mangala from Portuguese football giant FC Porto with a tag of 32 million euros.

When brought in, Eliaquim Mangala was predicted as the best candidate for a defender in Europe. Unfortunately, Mangala arguably failed to meet these predictions.

Indeed, Eliaquim Mangala had performed neatly in his first two seasons at Manchester City. Unfortunately, Mangala failed to show consistency until he was knocked out on the bench.

“Valencia reached an agreement with Eliaquim Mangala. This makes the French defender will defend Valencia until 30 June 2021,” wrote an official Valencia statement.

Eliaquim Mangala joined Valencia on a transfer-free status. That was after Manchester City did not renew Mangala’s contract.
