Vicente Del Bosque Reluctant to Discuss Real Madrid Appearances

By db-admin

DBasia.news –  To maintain good relations with fans and Real Madrid, Vicente Del Bosque is reluctant to comment on Madrid’s current performance.

Del Bosque is afraid his comments will make media focus on Madrid too excessive. Because it will have a bad impact on Los Blancos who need space and time to rise. Excessive media focus certainly makes Madrid more depressed.

Del Bosque does have a special relationship with Madrid because he once presented seven trophies to the Santiago Bernabeu. In two periods (1994-1996 and 1999-2003) Del Bosque’s coaching, Madrid dominated domestic and European competition.

“I shouldn’t comment on the situation out of respect. I prefer not to say anything because it can cause interference or media focus,” Del Bosque said, as quoted by Football-Espana.

Madrid has been in a difficult condition since last season precisely after Cristiano Ronaldo went to Juventus and Zinedine Zidane stepped down from the coach’s chair. The departure of two figures who brought success in the previous three seasons made Madrid unsteady.

Julen Lopetegui who was appointed to replace Zidane was fired in the middle of last season because of Madrid’s inconsistent appearance. Then Santiago Solari came on for Lopetegui but suffered a similar fate before the end of last season.

Zidane then came back before the end of last season to replace Solari and survive until now. Zidane also bought several new players to revive Madrid but the expected results have not been seen until now.

Madrid’s performance is still worrisome even they have just lost 0-3 to Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) in the opening match of the Champions League Group A at the Parc des Princes Stadium. If you continue to look like that then Madrid may return to zero like last season.
