DBasia.news – Manchester United’s inconsistency this season isn’t fully caused by Jose Mourinho, also with his clash issue with the club players. United legend, Wayne Rooney, is also watching his former club’s journey even though he is now playing in the US with DC United.

Manchester United’s journey this season isn’t as expected. From 10 Premier League matches, David De Gea and friends got 3 defeats, 2 draws, and 5 victories.

It’s not enough to bring The Red Devils to the top table. Man United are 9 points away from the leader Manchester City.

Some people blame Jose Mourinho as the trigger behind this complicated situation. Moreover, the Portuguese manager was involved in some problems with his players.

“Obviously they are going through a difficult period at the minute but Jose Mourinho is very experienced and I think some players have to do a little bit better,” Rooney said quoted by BBC.

“Hopefully they can turn their form around, win a few more games and keep the pressure on the top of the table.”

One of the players who has a problem with Mourinho is Paul Pogba. The former Juventus player was upset to The Special One’s decision to take the cocaptain ban from his hands. Consequently, Pogba is rumored to leave in the next transfer market.

“In my experience, I have never seen or heard of a player not wanting to play in the game because they have had a falling out with the manager,” Rooney said.

“I don’t think as a player you could do that, you’ve got to respect the club and the fans and also respect your team-mates. I’m sure they’re all working hard behind the scenes to get results,” the player explained.

Jose Mourinho will lead his squad visiting Bournemouth home on the 11th-week of 2018-2019 Premier League match at Dean Court Stadium, Saturday (3/11).
