Wayne Rooney’s ambition with Derby County

DBasia.news –  Wayne Rooney is officially a Derby County player-coach. He said his arrival to get valuable knowledge from the manager, Philip Cocu.

Wayne Rooney will officially become the new Derby County player in the transfer market next winter. With the Rams, he will play a role as a player and coach at least until the end of 2021.

“First, I am a professional footballer. I believe I will still be able to make a major contribution to Derby. I want to show my best performance and help the team win promotional tickets,” Rooney explained.

“Secondly, I came here to gain valuable knowledge and experience from Philip Cocu and his coaching staff. I will be able to use these two things when I no longer play football later,” continued Rooney.

On the same occasion, Rooney claimed to have gotten offers from several Premier League clubs. However, he decided to come to Derby because of the role given by the Rams management to him as a player and coach.
