DBasia.news – The Belgium midfielder of Borussia Dortmund Axel Witsel said that he really wants to bring the champion title to Signal Iduna Park. He admits that he is delighted for the career chance with Dortmund.
Witsel is the key to Dortmund’s performance this season. His duet in the midfield along with Thomas Delaney contributed hugely of Lucien Favre squad’s successful performance.
“Everything’s gone well for me. I’m playing for one of the biggest and greatest clubs in Europe. The team, the environment, the fans… everything here is just brilliant and emotionally charged. I’m very thankful and really happy that I’m now part of this outstanding team,” Witsel said.
“I have a lot of plans here, and I obviously want to try to win a title or two in the medium term with BVB. That’s why I play football,” he added.
In the match against RB Leipzig last weekend, Witsel was the decisive hero of Der BVB. He scored the only goal when the match just went 19 minutes.
The impressive performance of the 29-year-old player is expected to persist this weekend. Dortmund will play against the average club Hannover 96 at Signal Iduna Park.
